Detailed Regulations Concerning Research Associate and Visiting Research Associate at the Hosei University Research Center for International Japanese Studies

Purpose

Article 1. The purpose of these Detailed Regulations is to stipulate the details of matters concerning Research Associate and Visiting Research Associate at the Hosei University Research Center for International Japanese Studies in accordance with Article 10.4 of the Hosei University Regulations for the Research Center for International Japanese Studies.

Recruiting

Article 2. Research Associate and Visiting Research Associate shall be selected by the Steering Committee and appointed by the President.

Appointment Period

Article 3.
1. Research Associate shall be appointed while they are enrolled in a doctoral program at the University.
2. The period of the appointment of Visiting Research Associate shall in principle be one year.

Employment Terms

Article 4.
1. Research Associate and Visiting Research Associate shall not be provided with financial support.
2. Visiting Research Associate shall be provided with benefits related to research including the use of libraries and Research Center facilities and equipment.

Revision and Abolition of These Detailed Regulations

Article 5. Decisions on the revision or abolition of these Detailed Regulations shall be made by the President after deliberation by the Steering Committee.

Supplementary Provisions
1. These Detailed Regulations shall enter in force on June 2, 2004.
2. These Detailed Regulations shall enter in force on August 24, 2006, after partial revision.
3. These Detailed Regulations shall enter in force on April 1, 2013, after partial revision.
