Executive Summary
In this meeting, Professor Hoquet aimed to compare the philosophical significance of various figures of fiction that can collect under the general label of “posthumans” cyborgs, mutants, robots, but also related to a graft hybrid. Each of these characters embodies different values ??(heroism, skill, immortality, discipline, etc.) and various risks (specialization, slumping, obsolescence, addiction).
The presentation developed these thoughts on the implicit philosophy of fiction, illustrating them with examples from the world of manga, as well as American blockbusters.
