Call for Papers of “Research Article of Young Researcher 2017”

1. Objective
Hosei University Research Center for International Japanese Studies (HIJAS) calls for papers of young researchers to contribute the development of “International Japanese Studies” and incentivize research activities of young researchers.

2. Qualification Requirements
(1) Academic Researcher or Visiting Academic Researcher of HIJAS.
(2) Doctor’s course student or post doctoral student within 5 years of graduation (if applicant does not belong to the doctor’s course of Hosei University, he/she has to present his/her Student ID Card, and if applicant is postdoctoral, he/she has to attach his/her Curriculum Vitae).
(3) Those who are admitted by the Editorial Committee (if applicant want to propose by this category, he/she has to apply his/her Curriculum Vitae and a summary of the article by Friday, 10th November 2017).

3. Detail of Applying Article
(1) Theme is focusing / concerning on “International Japanese Studies” and article has to be unpublished.
(2) Language of article is only Japanese.
(3) Total amount of article is approximately 18000 characters (40 characters x 30 lines x 15 pages).
(4) If applied article is adopted, applicant has to present the summary in English.

4. Number of Adoptions
Up to 3 articles

(1) Submissions are accepted only by mail

6. Important Reminders
(1) Every applying article is reviewed by the Editorial Committee.
(2) Author(s) of adopted article will be given Research Grants (30,000 Japanese Yen).
(3) Author(s) of adopted article will be given 3 copies of International Japanese Studies No. 16 and 50 copies of reprinted article.
(4) Copyright of adopted article belongs to HIJAS.
(5) HIJAS has the right to open adopted article by degitirized format.
