We welcomed Mr Hidetoshi Uchihara and Dr. Hidetsugu Takayama and had their reports.
Mr. Uchihara’s theme was “Transition of Autonomy and Community in Fengu Shui and ancestral Rituals: A Case in Yaeyama Islands” and examined the relationship between geographic or natural phenomena and people in Ryuku, especially Yaeyama Islands.
Dr. Takayama reported with the theme “Buddhists in Modern Age and “Japan”: From the Point of View of the True Pure Land School” and discussed the overseas mission work to clear the details of the modernization of Buddhism.
